Sign PDF places a visual electronic signature, typed name, initials, or uploaded signature image onto a PDF. It is intended for documents that accept a visible electronic signature.

You can position and resize the visual signature before exporting a new PDF. The operation adds visible page content; it does not create a certificate-backed cryptographic signature or a PAdES validation record.
