Use an Android PDF viewer to check the page count and note the pages you need. Decide whether you want a specific range, individual pages or several smaller documents.

Large PDFs use more memory, so close other browser tabs if the phone is resource constrained.
Choose ranges carefully
Enter ranges such as 1-3,5,8-10 only after comparing them with the real page count. If the interface offers split-every-page or fixed intervals, preview how many output files will be produced.
Use meaningful groups rather than arbitrary chunks when the files will be emailed or uploaded separately.
